AUBREY GRINSTEAD, LPC-A
Acceptance. Support. Change.
Hi, I’m so happy you’re here.
I’m a licensed therapist with over 10+ years of experience working with people in various phases of life and circumstances. Having worked in numerous settings, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people during many different seasons of change. I believe there is no “right” place to start therapy— only the place you are in right now.
My approach is compassionate, relaxed, and collaborative- meeting you where you are while gently supporting growth at a pace that feels right for you. I also believe healing doesn’t have to be heavy— humor and warmth are welcome here. No feelings, thoughts, or experiences are off limits. No judgement, no shame, just support.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and encouraged as you move toward the life you want.
Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have.
Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.

The first step is for us to explore your needs during a consultation call. This is a good opportunity for us to get to know each other, answer any questions, and review details of what it will be like working together. If we decide it's a good fit, then we will move forward and schedule an intake assessment.
This 90-minute session is required for all new clients and serves as the foundation for your personalized treatment plan. During the assessment, we’ll explore your physical/mental health, and personal history to gain a thorough understanding of your unique needs and challenges. Together, we will identify the key areas for focus and create a clear path forward in your therapy journey.
Following your initial assessment, individual therapy sessions focus on addressing the goals and treatment needs unique to you. We will work together to explore the challenges you’re facing and develop strategies to create positive, lasting change. My therapeutic approaches include EMDR, ACT, CBT, Somatic Experiencing, DBT skills, and elements from multiple modalities.
Following the initial assessment for couples or family members, we can decide together if individual appointments or joint family therapy will be more beneficial.
Family therapy or couple’s therapy can help improve communication, resolve conflicts, navigate challenges and support increased coping strategies for lasting change. Initial sessions begin at 60 minutes. Additional time can be added as needed.
